Mark Mukasi, of the French LLP Mukasey, told a New York Eric Trump State Supreme Court judge in Manhattan. That he withdrew from the case on September 14. The move comes one day after a judge was ordered to seal the deal between the parties. Before this agreement, the document was no longer active in this case since January. It is not clear whether there is a link between the deal and Mukasi’s departure.
Mukai declined to comment on the recording of the story. He has represented Eric Trump in the case since it was filed in August 2020. Eric and Trump’s officials failed to respond to questions.
Mukai’s other clients, former legal partner of Rudy Giuliani, include Navy Eddie Gallagher. Oilfield services firm Halliburton, and basketball coach Rick Pitino.
New York Attorney General Leticia James (D) is investigating the Trump organization over allegations of counterfeiting their assets to secure loans and tax breaks.
