Anatomech: Revolutionizing Physical Rehabilitation with Wearable Technology

Anatomech, a Pune-based startup founded by Divyakshi Kaushik in March 2020, is pioneering the integration of smart wearable technology into physical rehabilitation, offering hope and convenience to those on their path to recovery.

Mission and Vision

Anatomech’s mission is to bridge the gap in access to home-based physical rehabilitation by developing smart wearable devices that enable daily therapy sessions in the comfort of the user’s home. Divyakshi Kaushik’s expertise as a design engineer in healthcare wearable devices and her firsthand observation of the gaps in rehabilitation solutions post-injury led to the inception of Anatomech.

Innovative Products

Anatomech’s brand KUE, launched in August 2021, introduced a range of static graduated compression products engineered to regulate blood flow, relieve fatigue, and mitigate stress caused by daily routines or physical activities. These products cater to athletes and individuals experiencing joint pain, offering relief and enhancing recovery.

Revolutionary Wearable Device

Anatomech is developing a revolutionary wearable device for individuals suffering from breast cancer-related lymphedema, a condition resulting from mastectomy procedures. Integrated with patented actuators, the device applies sequential and intermittent compressive pressures, enhancing circulation and reducing chronic swelling and discomfort.

Digital Capabilities and Progress Tracking

Anatomech is exploring the addition of digital capabilities to its wearables, including remote patient monitoring and optimized therapy recommendations. This advancement in home healthcare management enables progress tracking and refinement of therapy plans for optimal outcomes.

Financial Progress and Support

Financially, Anatomech has secured approximately Rs 1 crore in funding through government grants from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), GoI, and BIRAC. Supported by incubation with Venture Center since 2018, Anatomech has received mentoring and resources to navigate the competitive landscape of healthcare wearables.

Future Goals and Market Impact

Anatomech aims to create tech products for a $350 billion market in home healthcare management, focusing on alleviating the strain on healthcare resources and adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape. By redefining the approach to rehabilitation and recovery, Anatomech is making it more accessible, effective, and patient-centered.

In conclusion, Anatomech’s innovative solutions are revolutionizing physical rehabilitation, offering convenience, personalized care, and remote monitoring to individuals on their journey to recovery.
