Amelia Hamlin is the latest celebrity to drop her eyebrows in one of today’s boldest beauty trends, documenting her ‘baby-soft’ transformation in a behind-the-scenes TikTok video published by Interview Magazine.
“#AmeliaGray takes us to the next level. Stay tuned for pics on the #InterviewMagazine page soon,” the 21-year-old model wrote. In the clip, Hamlin sits with shaving cream in his hair and eyebrows while a stylist puts a razor on his forehead. Wow great. That’s a big deal. I feel like they’re gone,” he said afterwards, laughing.
“Dreams come true,” said someone behind the camera, as he replied, “It happened. I really wanted to shave it off, but only for [Chairman Interview Mel Ottenberg].”
Stylists cite Madonna as an iconic example of a celebrity who has rocked the browless look, including Whoopi Goldberg, Doja Kat and Kanye West.
Hamlin had already bleached his eyebrows in September 2021 when he wore the trend for his debut at London Fashion Week shortly after he split from Scott Disick. Princess Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin previously dubbed 2021 as “the year of white eyebrows and dreams come true…” as she reflects on that year.
